To date, the 'Tal Jones: A Black Oil Legacy' screenplay has received numerous awards and

accolades which trace the discovery of oil on Tal’s land in Seminole County, Oklahoma. Thus,

setting up a chain of events that included unscrupulous dealings by dishonest oilmen who

attempted to take the land and claim the mineral rights. This is Dr. Moore’s personal story as the

great-great-grandson of Tal Jones.

From slave to landowner, a man perseveres and builds an oil legacy and generational wealth that

has lasted from 1920s Oklahoma until today while battling oil interests in a loaded legal system.
