On 9th November 2025, Esther Austin Global had the honour of travelling to Paris. The occasion was to capture a remarkable moment in history for the creative team behind “I AM ETERNATURA – Lean On Me.” The director, Despoina Aslanoglou, led a project that resonates deeply with themes of empowerment and resilience.
The Philosophy Behind ETERNATURA
The philosophy of ETERNATURA is beautifully encapsulated in the clip "I Am Eternatura – Lean on Me." It illustrates the quiet yet powerful strength of women. This project highlights how women rise after every challenge, carrying immense burdens while still needing support at times. This duality of vulnerability and resilience is where true power lies.
The essence of ETERNATURA is about healing, support, and connection. These elements are crucial in a woman’s emotional journey. The project serves as a spiritual and emotional expression of holistic wellness.
The term "Eternatura" merges two concepts: eternity and nature. It embodies a profound belief that reconnecting with nature allows us to tap into the eternal intelligence within ourselves. The phrase “Drink nature, think eternity” suggests nourishing the body with purity while fostering peace, perspective, and timeless wisdom in the mind. Nature and healing are eternal.
When a woman reconnects with her natural strength, intuition, and emotional depth, she steps into her own eternity. This is the core of holistic living.
Recognitions and Awards
Mr. Richard West was invited to receive the Official Selection Award on behalf of the team for their recognition in:
Lift-Off Sessions 2025 – Volume 9 New Voices Shorts
The short film distinguished itself among 174 competing films. This recognition opens doors for industry mentoring, development, and pitching at Pinewood Film Studios, should it progress to the next stage.
Upcoming Screenings
Since their award, there will be in-person screenings at the La Femme Independent Film Festival London. This event will take place at Riverside Studios in London on 23rd January 2026.
On 24th January, there will be a breakfast gathering at BAFTA in the morning, followed by a celebration of winning the award at the La Femme Independent Film Festival Film Makers Awards Dinner in the evening.
A Second Triumph: International Olympic Committee – Supported Festival Selection
We are thrilled to announce that “I AM ETERNATURA – Lean On Me” has also been officially selected for the 10th Beausoleil Côte d’Azur International FICTS Festival from April 7th–9th, 2026, in France. This prestigious festival promotes culture and sport through film and music, receiving support from the International Olympic Committee — a rare honour for any creative work.
This Laurel is dedicated to Dr. Niki Koutrou, the project’s deeply respected manager, Olympic advocate, and Associate Professor at the University of Sunderland. Her contributions to sustainable sport, Olympic legacy, and civil society initiatives continue to inspire and guide the heart of this project.
Richard West: A Journey of Firsts & Fulfilment
For Richard West, Paris was more than just an award ceremony; it was a journey of personal growth and firsts:
His first Eurostar journey
His first First-Class travel experience
A hotel room upgrade
His first visit to Paris
Richard's excitement was palpable as he embraced this new chapter in his life. In 2025, he stepped into his purpose, saying yes to opportunities and allowing life to unfold new pathways.
Adding to his achievements, Richard made his acting debut, thanks to the University of Greenwich students pursuing their Master's in Film. They gave him his first acting break in their movie "Deja Dream," which will be screened during the award event in January 2026.
