Dr. Charmain Elliott: A Champion for Independent Gospel Artists

Updated: 15 hours ago

Dr Charmain Elliott On Tuesday, 30th September, I had the privilege of attending an inspiring event hosted by Dr. Charmain Elliott  Bring it ‘N’ Sing it - On the Move International Independent Artist Showcase and Open Mic Jam. The evening brought together a mix of passionate artists from both the US and UK, united by a common purpose: to use gospel music not just as an art form, but as a vessel to spread God’s word of love, hope, and encouragement.

A Visionary Force in Music and Ministry

Dr. Charmain Elliott is a woman of many gifts and titles: Singer, Songwriter, International Recording Artist, Artist Developer, Manager, Producer, Coach, Director, and a CIPS-registered Procurement Project Analyst. She also holds a Doctorate in Music Performing Arts and Coaching, making her an accomplished leader whose expertise bridges both the creative and professional worlds.

Yet beyond her credentials, it is her quiet strength, steadfast faith, and unwavering passion for people and music that make her a formidable force. As an independent artist herself, Dr. Elliott knows first hand the challenges of visibility, recognition, and opportunity in the music industry. Her mission is clear: to create platforms where others can shine, where voices can be heard, and where faith-filled artistry can make an impact.

Dr. Charmain Elliott: A Champion for Independent Gospel Artists: More Than Music: A Ministry of Love and Hope

The performances at Bring it ‘N’ Sing it were not just showcases of talent — they were acts of ministry. Dr. Charmain Elliott: A Champion for Independent Gospel Artists event allowed each artist brought not only their music but also a deep sense of purpose and calling. The atmosphere was anchored in a collective desire to uplift, inspire, and impart God’s love through song.

What stood out most was the authenticity. These artists weren’t performing for fame or applause; they were living testimonies, using music as a life-giving tool in a world often marked by division and despair. The event underscored gospel music’s enduring role: not just entertainment, but a pathway to healing, peace, and hope.

In every note sung, every lyric shared, and every testimony given, her influence was evident. Dr. Elliott’s work embodies a powerful truth: when music is rooted in faith and love, it becomes more than sound — it becomes a way of life, a movement, and a ministry.
