"Liz Mitchell, the original lead singer of iconic 70s disco group Boney M. and one of the UK’s most successful singers of all time, is performing a special free concert on Facebook this Christmas to celebrate her 50 year career. Having been unable to tour since March, Liz is keen to reach out to her global fan base this Christmas - while celebrating her 50th career anniversary.
Liz said: “It’s been a very difficult year for everyone, and while I’ve not been able to perform since February I wanted to do something for all the people around the world who remember and love the music, particularly those who bought tickets for shows this year which we had to cancel. “I also wanted to mark my incredible 50 years in the industry. I can’t believe it’s been that long since I was sent to what was West Germany to perform on stage professionally for the first time. I became friends with someone else in the chorus line keen to make it big called Donna Summer, and it’s fair to say we both did pretty well over the next few years." Excerpt from Press Release

Liz is the only woman to sing three singles in UK All-Time Top 20 will perform classic hits including Rivers of Babylon, Brown Girl in the Ring and Mary’s Boy Child.
