This year has been an incredible year so far. With lock down a thing of the past (we all hope) artists are now back on course, happy to be doing what they love, and happy to be performing for their audiences once again.

Shalamar is one such group, who have been in the UK several times this year already and I have been there backstage capturing some incredible moments and having the most fun ever. I saw them at The London Palladium back on June 2nd and that event was a blast. With Opening act Louise Mehan from SouLutions and special guests Phil Fearon and Galaxy! This was an event that literally bought the house down. Below are some of those moments and did the crowd go crazy?? It was epic. Music is one of those things that bring people together and this crowd certainly wanted to parteeeeeee. The energy was heaving in the place that evening.

What do you get when the weather is gorgeous, hot, sunny, and you have some of the top artists performing? Such as Billy Ocean, Sister Sledge, Shalamar The Real Thing - you get Crazy Magic - that's what you get. In between grabbing pictures and bouncing around like a half-crazed maniac, (the music intoxicating) I managed to steady my hand on a few occasions to capture some great moments. Life is full of moments that just make it magical.

Soultasia August 2022 - Windsor

Imagination FT Leee John

Another great event. The Indian Summer continued. Windsor Racecourse was littered with sun hats, umbrellas, and a sea of people with drinks or food in hand, full of anticipation and ready to rock. The line-up today was Imagination FT Leee John, Kenny Thomas, Shalamar, Sister Sledge, Jocelyn Brown. Taking my seat in The Press Pit, I looked up in awe as once again, many of my legends performed. I tried to keep still, I tried to hold it down without throwing myself on stage and reacting rather rebelliously badly. I had to remind myself several times that I was there in the capacity of Press and taking badly, wobbly pictures and videos that looked as if I was on the magic roundabout because I couldn't keep still was not on. But trust me it was hard, as when music kicks in, my soul takes over and my feet follow.

Jocelyn Brown - Famously known for 'Somebody Else's Guy' - shook the event up. Her voice is a voice

of powerhouse of musical notes and deep SOUL timbre and as she belted out - Jamaica Funk and other covers Her Backing Singers and musicians took the jam up to another level. It certainly was a family affair backstage, as members of her family came out to support her and those performing. I also had the pleasure of capturing a few moments with this legend after her performance.
