I had the pleasure interviewing the vocal coach from Michael, the biopic on my podcast 'On the Sofa with Esther'. Behind the Michael Biopic: Vocal Coach Stephanie Spruill Reveals All. I also saw the Biopic 'Michel' and was truly inspired by four major things: his determination, his focus, his dedication, his vision. Along-with that of his father, whose ambitions for the family were driven by the neighbourhood they initially lived in, because they were black African Americans and also he knew the talent his children had and did not want that talent to die or be exploited. Michael's mother, the quiet, strong presence and voice of reason, wisdom and observation - who held the energy of home within her presence was pivotal as a sounding board, a place to curl into for Michael and her family. Therefore, this coming November, the journey continues with the following tour. The movie for me was about dreaming and keeping those dreams alive, demanding those dreams to be fulfilled, no matter what. We all have a purpose in life, the key thing is in following that purpose, pursuing it and in the process becoming great at who YOU are.
